Two Local Fu-neral Homes Announce They Will Not Charge The Families Of The Uvalde, Texas School Sh-ooting V-ictims – Video

As many families in the Uvalde, TX area mo-urn the loss of their loved ones after the mishap that took place Tuesday at Robb Elementary School, two local fu-neral homes share that they will not be charging the sufferer’s families, that unfortunately, lost their lives.

According to NBC News, Hillcrest Memorial Home and Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary announced that they would not be charging the sufferer’s families as they offer their services. Hillcrest said in a statement, “We have fought together as a community, and we will pull together as one now in our time of need.”

Along with Hillcrest, Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary announced they wouldn’t charge Uvalde families for services. “Not one family will be charged for our services.”

Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary added that they were there to assist the mo-urning community. “For over 60 years, we have supported Uvalde and beyond. Today, our resolve is stronger than ever. We are here for the people of Uvalde, and our professionals are currently at Robb Elementary assisting law enforcement. As the situation develops and we have the opportunity to assist our community, not one family will be charged for our services.”

Uvalde Sh–ting D-ath Toll Rises

As previously reported, the d-ath toll has now risen to 19 children and two adults. Officials have identified the suspected sh–ter in the incident as 18-year-old Salvador Ramos, who was k-lled in response to the sh–ting.

NBC News reports that an off-duty Customs and Border Protection agent with the Border Patrol Tactical Unit (BORTAC) was involved in k-lling the suspect. The off-duty agent and two law enforcement officers entered the school and fi-red at the suspect, who had been sh–ting from behind a barricade. The agent was subsequently sh-t and wounded during the process. Reportedly, his wounds weren’t fa-tal. Sources say the agent was able to help “eliminate the th-reat.”
