Husband’s Loving Remarks Go Viral When Wife Goes Out First Time Without Wig

Dakita Gaspaire was diagnosed with alopecia when she was a child – a condition where the body acts against hair follicles resulting in hair loss. She always tried to cover up her bald head using wigs. When she met her now-husband Justin Gaspaire, she opened up about her condition, and on the first date, she went out with him without a wig because he made her feel comfortable.

In a conversation with VictoryToday, Justin said that they both share a very pure bond and love each other unconditionally, and being bald isn’t even a big deal for them. In fact, the first picture the couple clicked together had both of them flexing their bald head.

While Dakita’s story is inspiring, she is not the only one who has embraced her true self and practised self-love. A 21-year-old named Zoe Wright, who belongs to the United Kingdom, was first dia-gnosed with alopecia when she was two years old. Her classmates made fun of her hair because of the bald patch on her scalp. Once her condition started getting wo-se, she decided to shave her head and pledged to do her bit to spread awareness about the condition. She is known for her unique fashion style, and Zoe now says she’s more confident than ever.

National Alopecia Areata Foundation recently found out that about 147 million people in the world s-ffer from alopecia, and it appears differently in each individual. While some lose hair completely on their scalp, others lose their entire bo-dy hair, and others lose hair partially, resulting in bald patches across the scalp. People with this condition can regrow their hair again until it stops growing altogether. Although no cure has been found for alopecia, treatments are available for this condition.
