Ohio Couple With 5 Biological Children Adopts 6 Siblings: ‘They’re Definitely My Children’ – Video

Family isn’t always blood. It’s the people in your life who want you in theirs; the ones who accept you who you are, the ones who would do anything to see you smile, and who love you no matter what. The sanders family is an evident depicting the same. In 2014, Christina and Christopher Sanders got their first foster placement that includes four brothers.

Bringing these boys in their life changed their life forever. And in 2016, they have decided to take two of the boy’s sisters. They have legally adopted all six children and they wanted all the siblings to live together.

“The entire journey has been so rewarding for us because we have been taking care of these kids for the past years and we have developed an immense bond with the kids,” Christopher told ABC News. He also said, “We would do everything for these children, and we always wish the best for them. We felt like we had to do whatever to help the children and they are definitely my kids.”

Sanders biological children Chloe, Carson, Caylee, Caleb, Christian, and Coby are also happy to welcome their new brothers and sisters into the family. Christopher said that despite the large count, brothers and sisters are getting along. Christina said, “They are really happy.” The sanders had started a GoFundMe account to gather funds to buy a van to accommodate everyone and after that their business will go on as usual.

Christina said, “I will be getting a van and will continue to do what we have been doing.” Despite the rough patches that surround foster parents sometimes, Christopher often encourages others to do it. He said, “This entire passage has been so lovely. I would never complain about anything. I would obviously recommend foster parents to anyone.”
