A Couple, Ages 103 And 100, Celebrate 82 Years Of Marriage -Shared Simple Advice To Making Love Last – Video

Recently an old couple from North Carolina celebrated 82 years of their marriage. D.W.Williams, 103 and Willie Williams, 100 also celebrated their birthdays too which fall seven days apart. The couple’s daughter, Alice Erin and the granddaughter BJ Williams-Greene hosted the anniversary party for the couple at First Mayfield Memorial Baptist Church in north Charlotte.

Greene says “To see them at this age and still doing well, it’s just a blessing to have them here.”For D.W.Williams and Willie communication is the key to their long lived relationship. When asked what the secret to their relationship is, Willie said “I don’t have no secret for that, just be nice to each other.” The couple further said “We don’t argue or have any fi-ghts. If we have a misunderstanding, we just talk it over.”

Williams-Greene, says she has learned a lot from her grandparents. She says “It’s communication and loving each other and working together. They are each other’s best friend,” When asked how they would celebrate their 100th anniversary, Willie said “I don’t know.” “Sit around the house.” Making her husband laugh.
